How to read a balance update before you queue

Start with your role and hero pool. Read each relevant adjustment in full: a damage increase can appear alongside a cooldown increase or a change to how an ability scales.

Next, check equipment interactions. A familiar build can behave differently when item passives, prices, or attributes change. Try the interaction in Practice Mode rather than assuming an old build still fits.

Finish with battlefield rules. Objective timing, lane rules, and economy changes can affect your rotation even when your own hero receives no direct adjustment. Check the live in-game descriptions for current values.
